Atmospherics

Another intense weather week in the Northeast, coming too closely behind Irene: 6-15 inches of wet, heavy snow, depending on where people were, and all of it hitting root-wet trees before the leaves were off: hundreds of thousands down, and more power outages than ever before in many spots. A  long, long week.

As of last night, most people’s power has been restored by the various electric companies.

Gilly’s house was lucky. For him and his buddy Leroy, it was all about goofing off in the snow.
